What to do in the Okanagan.

Welcome to the beautiful Okanagan Valley, supernatural B.C.'s very own four seasons playground.  Sometimes referred to as Canada's Hawaii. In the heart of the valley lies Kelowna and the crystal blue waters of the mighty Lake Okanagan.  Here blossom filled early springs  meld right into glorious, long hot summer days.  Beaches of every kind dot the miles of shoreline...whether you're looking to be in the middle of the excitement at Hot Sands or Gyro Beach or whether you prefer a picture perfect more private swimming cove, we've got it all.  If you just find you don't want to leave the lake behind, you might want to pull up into a perfect lakeside camping spot on Okanagan LakeWater sports of every kind lay in wait....water skiing, windsurfing, boating, house boating, jet skiing, fishing ,swimming, or lazily sunning, picnicking or barbecuing your fresh catch lakeside. Don't forget to keep a look out for our friendly lake creature, the infamous Ogopogo. Endless summer nights invite stargazing while sipping a fine local vintage.

Restaurants, live entertainment, festivals, it's all here. The spectacular autumn colors are second only to the Okanagan's Wine Festivals. We're fast becoming one of the world's great wine regions. Explore picturesque vineyards and estate wineries, sip by sip, cycle down autumn hued country lanes. The area's roadside fruit stands are bulging with the bounty of the rolling orchards, endless cornfields and veggie patches offering fresh picked cherries, apricots, plums, strawberries, peaches, apples, pears, watermelons, squash and more. You haven't lived until you've tasted our succulent local peaches-n-cream corn on the cob.

With winter comes all the excitement of Big White Ski Resort,  Silver Star and Apex Ski Resort. Shoosh down the slopes at Big White on champagne powder and then warm your happy tootsie's fireside in one of the mountain top pubs.  Don't miss sampling some of our regions fine award winning Ice Wine - again a good time to tour the wineries of the Okanagan.  Whenever it is and whatever you're looking for chances are we've got it all right here in the Okanagan.  Welcome to Kelowna, enjoy your stay, and be sure to come back often.

For those who prefer to tackle 18-holes, well we've got enough options to make your golf dreams come true.
